Simple Breakfast Granola Recipe
Yields: about 2 c
Ingredients
1 c rolled oats
1/2 c walnuts, roughly chopped
1/2 c almonds, roughly chopped
1/4 coconut oil, melted
2 Tbsp coconut sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cardamom
pinch of sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 275 F
- Line small baking tray with parchment paper
- Place oats, walnuts, almonds in medium sized bowl and mix together
- In small bowl add coconut oil, coconut sugar, spices, and optional sea salt. Stir to combine.
- Pour oil mixture over granola mixture and stir to evenly coat
- Pour mixture onto lined baking tray and spread evenly
- Place in oven and bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown
- Allow granola to cool for 1-2 hrs
- Place granola into glass air tight container. Store at room temperature for up to 1 week.
