Welcome to Vitalete! I grew up on a small farm in rural Missouri. Since I was young, my parent’s taught me that food can come from your backyard. We had gardens with fruits and vegetables, including giant sunflowers! We also had farm-fresh eggs, honey and maple syrup (yum!). Looking back, I can appreciate the work it took to grow and harvest food to support our family. Overtime, I’ve learned that the practices and habits we take part in everyday ultimately affect who we are and how we feel. This includes how we feed our bodies with nutrition, movement, sleep, and other lifestyle practices.
I’ve completed a marathon and multiple half marathon’s. I enjoy weight training, yoga, and pilates regularly. I enjoy coaching athletes of all ages and abilities. I have experience working with high school, college, and professional athletes (hockey, field hockey, golf, swimming, rowing, soccer, track & field).
My background includes two Master of Science degree’s from Logan University where I studied Nutrition and Dietetics, Human Performance with emphasis in Sports Nutrition. I’m a registered dietitian (RD), a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer, registered yoga teacher (200-hr) and ELDOA level 1 certified student-practitioner. I have experience working with all ages and a wide-range of abilities in areas of nutrition, fitness, performance, and yoga.
I understand that creating and initiating wellness changes for yourself can be challenging in many ways. I’m here to help you! There are many opportunities for improving your health and fitness starting today! I offer sustainable nutritional, fitness, and lifestyle practices that fit your individual needs. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve success in your sport, active lifestyle, or starting your health and wellness journey.
